I have no idea where to begin .. where do I begin? uhhhh.. Okay.
Welcome to JBoldLivingHappy! I am Jillian (more on me to come). You could classify me as an amateur blogger, but hey everyone starts somewhere .. right?
Starting a blog is something I have always wanted to do, but every time I went to start I found an EXCUSE not to, NO MORE EXCUSES. I do wish I had started this at the beginning of my weight loss journey so that I could look back and see my progress – not only physically, but mentally as well.
Well, I have finally come to a point in my life where I have the confidence and belief in myself that a blog is something I can do. Along my journey whether it be weight-loss, running, cross-fit, workouts, life in general there have been so many blogs that have inspired me and helped me, I hope to inspire others as they have inspires me. Whether or not anyone will read this or come across it .. who knows, but if I can reach one person and positively impact their day or life then this will be worth it.
I am happier and healthier than I have ever been in my life and I am so excited to be documenting my journey. Around September of 2013 I started running, much to my surprise I feel in love with it. I finished my first 5k and immediately signed up for a half marathon .. aggressive, I know, but it has truly been a life changing experience. I am now on a mission to run a half marathon in every state – although I have completed some already I will be using this as a way to document these races and write recaps. Some product reviews – because what runner doesn’t obsessively read them before making a purchase. Life experiences, family friends, whatever happens happens here. Positive affirmations have played a huge roll in my lifestyle changes, I also plan to share some of those.
